Real use cases

What Hugo can do for you

01

The facade with sixty openings

Every opening stays in place, at its size, floor by floor. The neighborhood, the trees and the passersby are added around it, without touching the building.

02

Three moods, one 3D model

Sun, rain or snow: the geometry doesn't move a pixel. Your client picks the mood, and you didn't remodel a thing.

03

The exact supplier reference

Your client approved a specific finish from the supplier. That's the one, grain and all, that goes on the furniture.

From 3D model to render, with your client's fabric

Hugo starts from your 3D model and makes the photorealistic render. Noé then animates the change of material: caramel leather on one side, printed fabric on the other, same framing, nothing else moves.

  • Your 2D plan (PDF, DXF, DWG, dimensioned photo) built into a SketchUp model
  • Neatly organized groups, components and layers
  • Dimensions read from your plan, never made up

FAQ

About Hugo

Does Hugo really respect my geometry?
That's his whole job. He starts from your screenshot and your Project Sheet: openings, dimensions, materials. Compare the before and after above, and during the call I'll show you projects close to yours.
Do I need to change software?
No. You keep SketchUp, Archicad or Revit. Hugo starts from a screenshot of your 3D model, which you send him in the SKELVIA app.
Does Hugo do renders for my line of work?
Yes, as long as he starts from a screenshot of your 3D model. Architect: facades, volumes, fitting into the site. Interior designer: moods and materials approved with your client.
What does Hugo need?
A Magnific account in your name, connected during the setup: that's where his renders are generated. During the setup, we also give him your usual materials, your reference renders and your library of supplier references.
Does Hugo turn my 2D plans into 3D?
Yes, in SketchUp. You send him your plan in the SKELVIA app (PDF, DXF, DWG or dimensioned photo). He reads the dimensions and prepares the model, which the SKELVIA Hugo extension, installed on your computer during the setup, builds in neatly organized groups and components. Anything that isn't on the plan, he asks you instead of making it up. You touch it up, then he renders it.
Does Hugo make the functional diagram of my brief?
Yes, as a sketch. You give him your brief: the rooms, their areas, which ones need to connect. He gives you the bubble diagram, each room sized to its area, the day, night and service zones in color, as an image ready to show and as a file you can edit yourself for free on Excalidraw. The areas come from your brief, never from him.
Does Hugo replace my rendering engine?
For your presentation images, often: no more scenes to light or renders to wait for. Your plans, your dimensions and your technical documents remain your work.
